TYPO3 – Update 4.2.x auf 4.3
Ich versuche mich gerade mal beim Update von der Version 4.2.x auf 4.3 damit ich mir die Version mal anschauen kann (nicht produktiv!)!
- Der 1. Schritt geht hier in das Installtool dort auf “3: Update Wizard”
changeCompatibilityVersionYour current TYPO3 installation is configured to behave like version 4.2 of TYPO3. If you just upgraded from this version, you most likely want to use new features as well.
In the next step, you will see the things that need to be adjusted to make your installation compatible with the new features.

installSystemExtensions
Install the following system extensions as their functionality is moved out of the TYPO3 base installation and now optional:
Help>About [about]
Shows info about TYPO3 and installed extensions.Help>TYPO3 Manual [cshmanual]
Shows TYPO3 inline user manual.Frontend Editing [fe_edit]
This module enables FE-editing, configuration is done by TyposcriptSimulate Static URLs [simulatestatic]
If you do not want to use RealURL or CoolURI but still want the Speaking URL feature. If you used “config.simulateStaticDocuments = 1″ in this installation before, you should install this system extension. Be sure to read the manual of “simulatestatic”.
changeImagecolsValue
Sets tt_content.imagecols = 1 to all entries having “0″. This is needed to have a valid value for imagecols.
- Step 3 – Perform updates

The compatibility version has been set to 4.3.Update successful

Mit auth.BE.redirectToURL = alt_main.php?module=web_layout im UserTSConfig konnte man früher automatisch nach Login auf ein Modul (hier web_layout) weiterleiten.
Diese Anweisung muss bei allen Usern entfernt werden. Ansonsten treten JS-Fehler auf und das Backend ist nicht voll funktionstüchtig.
